The story
Doctor Strange's spell wiped Peter Parker from every memory on Earth, MJ's and Ned's included. To keep them safe, he chose never to tell them the truth.
Four years later, Peter is an adult living completely alone and protecting New York as an anonymous Spider-Man. Watching the people he loves move on without him starts to change him, in ways he may not be able to control. It may also be the only way to stop a threat no one can even see.
Not Ned, not MJ, not the city he patrols every night. Nobody knows the face behind the mask anymore.
A one-room apartment, a police scanner and a suit he sewed himself. Being Spider-Man is now his full-time job.
The strain of a hidden life is pushing his powers somewhere new, and even Peter can't say where it ends.
The suit
No nanotech and no Stark upgrades. After No Way Home, Peter is on his own, and so is his suit: classic red and blue, made to take a beating every single night.
Big white eyes ringed in heavy black, a look lifted straight off the page.
A larger, sharper emblem spans the chest. You can read it from a rooftop away.
Dimensional black webbing traces every red panel, from the mask down to the gloves.
The colors New York remembers, even if it forgot the man wearing them.
